Grief Recovery Program Offered at Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers
Published May 14, 2010
We are all taught to believe the myths about dealing with grief and loss such as time heals all wounds, replace the loss, grieve alone, be strong for others and just keeping yourself busy. The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers will offer the Grief Recovery Outreach Program to help guide those who wish to resolve their loss issues and move beyond their grief into a richer quality of life. There are many types of grief that this program can help with, whether it is a death of a loved one, divorce or end of relationship, loss of job or career, loss of trust or loss of health. A free lecture will be held on Monday, May 24th at 8:00 p.m. in Clinton and on Wednesday, May 26th at 7:30 p.m. in Whitehouse Station.
A 10-week program will follow these lectures and begin June 7th from 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in Clinton. The program will be facilitated by Mark Larose, a Certified Grief Recovery® Specialist. The fee for this program is $149 for members and $199 for non-members. The program is affiliated with the Grief Recovery® Institute. This is not a support group. It is a recovery group that guides you into actions in identifying and moving beyond pain associated with a loss.
