Fitness Without Walls Offers Free Yoga Class at Deer Path Park

Interested in trying yoga? Free Yoga classes will be offered through a new program called Fitness Without Walls on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning May 5th and ending June 11th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cedars Pavilion in Deer Path Park. This program is designed to bring people out to the park for a pleasant evening of fun and fitness. The class will focus on basic yoga techniques and is suitable for beginners. Participants should bring a thick yoga mat and a towel to class.
Darlene Andes will facilitate the program. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Free babysitting is available at the Deer Path YMCA for ages 8 weeks and older upon request. This program is generously funded through a grant from Merck & Co., Inc and is sponsored by the Partnership for Health Weight and Physical Activity Team. This team includes: Hunterdon Medical Center, Rutgers Cooperative Extension, Deer Path YMCA, Hunterdon County Parks and Recreation, Hunterdon County Senior Services and HealthQuest.
