Family Support Guide
Welcome
The Child Development Center’s Early Intervention Program and Special Child Health Services Case Management Unit have developed this Family Support Guide. The purpose of this guide is to identify available services and to provide support for families with children with special needs. We have developed this guide in close collaboration with our community partners... NORWESCAP and the Arc of Hunterdon.
Access is an important part of Family Support, so we have chosen to make information available on the Internet as part of the Hunterdon Healthcare System's Web site. Many of our service partners and other concerned community agencies have agreed to provide access and links to the guide in their agencies. Look in the "Listing of Service Partners" section of the Guide to find out more.
In other words, the Family Support Guide is a way of reaching out to you - the families we serve - and making sure that you are aware of the help that is available. Using these services can make your family experience a better one.
The Child Development Center is proud to be a partner with other service providers in Hunterdon County and across the state. In other sections of this Guide you will find lists of all of our partners and other contacts. This will expand your reach for services and support.
Your input and feedback are important to the success of the information you see here. Please contact me, Carol Klein with your comments or suggestions regarding your needs. You may call me at (908) 788-6396
My staff and I look forward to the opportunity to enhance your family's connections.
