Group Classes
This series of four classes focuses on practical aspects of diabetes management that can help people improve their blood sugar levels. A valuable part of the program is the sharing of feelings and experiences among the participants. Please call (908) 237-6920 for availability.
Pre-Diabetes Class
Are you one of the 54 million Americans who has Pre-diabetes?
Pre-diabetes is a condition that comes before diabetes. It means that fasting blood sugar levels are between 100mg/dL and 125mg/dL and are not high enough to be called diabetes.
If you have Pre-Diabetes come and learn what you can do to take steps to delay or prevent Type 2 diabetes.
The Pre-diabetes class is a one-time session and is held the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
Instruction will be provided by a certified diabetes educator and nutritionist.
Cost is $40 and includes a free blood glucose monitor. Registration is required. Please call (908) 237-6920 for more information.
Class Instructors
Sessions and classes are conducted by Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management professionals who are skilled and knowledgeable in diabetes management. These include Registered Nurses and Registered Dietitians who are certified in diabetes education.
