Primary Care, Prevention and Wellness

Your Health

is important to us! At Hunterdon Healthcare System, our long– commitment is to making Hunterdon County as healthy as it can be. In fact, over 50% of the care provided at Hunterdon Medical Center is primary care. Since 1969 – when Family Medicine was first established as a medical specialty in the United States – Hunterdon Medical Center has enjoyed a teaching affiliation with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey– Wood Johnson Medical School. When the program began, Hunterdon Medical Center was one of just six hospitals in the nation to offer such a teaching and learning opportunity.

Since that time, the Family Medicine Residency Program has graduated more than 190 general and family physicians. Alumni include physicians in almost every state and abroad.

Family Medicine Physicians are specialists...in you! Their focus is on the total health of every member of your family.

The Health and Wellness Center in Whitehouse is a state-of-the-art wellness, exercise and rehabilitation facility.
